Bio: Our founders have extensive personal and professional experience in leadership development, effective management, and organizational capacity building in both the public and private sectors. Jane F. Cox brings a wealth of real-world experience to the areas of general management consulting and leadership development to help clients strategically position themselves for improved performance and aggressive growth in an increasingly competitive marketplace. She focuses on the areas of organizational change, leadership, and chief executive and executive team development. Her academic background in public speaking, gender communication and small group dynamics has served as a solid platform for building teams and successfully growing the investment of internal and external stakeholders. Jane most recently served as the President/CEO of the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina, a $64 million dollar not-for-profit corporation that increased its distribution of food by nearly 400% and the revenue stream to support that function by over 600% in her nine-year tenure. Jane was inducted into Triangle Women in Business in 2002 and became an Eisenhower Fellow in 2003. The year she was selected as an Eisenhower Fellow, Jane traveled to Australia and New Zealand with the Fellowship for two months to examine among other issues how collaboration between the private sector, government, and non-governmental organizations lessen gaps in communities, regions, states and nations. Jane holds a BA and an MPA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Nick Didow is a professor in the Marketing Department at UNC’s Kenan-Flagler Business School and a Kenan Institute Faculty Fellow. He has published over 30 peer-reviewed scholarly articles in academic journals including the Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of Marketing, and the Journal of Consumer Research. His classes and his workshops include market research methods and consumer behavior analysis. Over his career, Professor Didow has also conducted and advised on hundreds of consumer and market studies for corporations, non-profit organizations, and government agencies. Professor Didow is a former public elected official, having successfully run for and served three terms on the Chapel Hill- Carrboro City Schools Board of Education from 1995-2005.
